Wilfried Bony

I think he would do a good job fairly like for like in a few area's but at 27 with very limited playing time and he'll be off to the ACON's it would have to be a fairly low fee to get me interested personally

Rather than go for a player in that Lukaku mould if you will I've said before I'd rather go down a different route and play with a front three our style and play is vastly dictated by playing one upfront were too one dimensional

Maybe losing Lukaku (if he goes) will have the Rooney effect and make us a better side... just a thought

Seriously, you don't seem to rate anyone.

I don't rate Belgians apparently. I hated Jan marie pfaff because he was supposed to be better than southall, I don't like Stella as it leads to domestic abuse, tin tin was shit... I did like Enzo scifo though, he should have been much more.

Completly agree with you, tin tin was shite.

A good player. Solid all round game. Didn't expect him to flourish at city as a 15 minutes here and there player. He is suited to a system that uses his attributes. Not as a go and grab us a goal djecko type player.

If we get him for £18m and offload niasse for £8m then I'd be happy.

Id

I'd be ok with Bony plus £30-35m
Bony's value certainly can't have increased much (if anything) while he's been there.

I'd be happy with £35 and Bony, losing a centre half who's defending is at times questionable, but gaining the back up striker we need, along with a pretty sum in the bank isn't the worst of ideas. Right now I think we're a side that needs to focus on experience in the first team. Sign some top players who know how the league works.

Great striker to hold up the ball, and to push Rom for his place.

Who do we replace Stones with though? Van Dijk? Or anther ball playing defender, which I'd imagine not many would wish to join us.

No seen much of Bony, what's he like?

big fish in a small pond at Swansea, did nothing since his move to City.

But, there is a decent player in there. Not great but decent. I think £40m and him would be great for Stones. If we could get £50m, Begovic and Remy for Rom too (the latest rumour) we'd have 3 solid, yet unspectacular, signings and an extra £90m to play with. Can't argue with that no matter how much I want to keep them both

That's actually a rational way of looking at it.

The greater signal is he's doing whatever he's doing in Liverpool whilst his teammates are in Gothenburg.

Fairly obvious he's not in Pep's plans since they've brought in a few attack minded players and he's been a fringe player prior

Possibly having a mooch around unless he's contractually confined to the limits of Manchester ?

Don't get me wrong I'd have him here before going to City and having very limited time to bed himself in he was great at Swansea and I do think he'd still be a decent signing but I'm not reading into him driving around 30/40 minutes from where he lives

I'd take that without question two very different strikers who I think would compliment each other quite well and a solid keeper £90m change aswel! No brainier IMO

Not that fussed with Remy but on paper that makes sense. Add Williams and a third striking option we'd at least look like having options going into the new season.
