Popular Post Shukes
Lovely finish for his goal. But also was impressed with the positions he got into. Second goal would never have happened without a player going near post. Matt, nutmegwolf203, Wiggytop and 2 others
plaidharper
Love how DCL runs his socks even though he knows he will not get any service. The most assists by a single player in our squad this season is 3. Matt

DCL willing to work even if it's Coleman, Walcott etc.
Finn balor
Gotta agree with that he is starved of chances. I think if I was poch at spurs he’d be ideal as back up for Kane. There is deffo a player there
Finn balor
Would be interesting to see him get a run of games with lookman in the side aswell
markjazzbassist
i've been saying for a while he needs a run of games. he works hard and can score (albeit not an assassin), he is the better fit than Tosun.

Matt
There needs to be a slight tweak to tactics (ie, Richarlison and Siggy, arguably CMs need to read the situation better), and he could be a great hold up striker please give him a run! Hafnia
Could be a very good player. You can see a bit of Ferguson in his play. Btay

Yep, we’ve touched on this. I’d like him to get a little bit more size but not much. His shoulders are just so wide and he’s got some real power in his legs. Challenge him with these next 9 games and see if he can return some goals and assists.
Wiggytop
His leap is great, wins most punts up field, and showed some lovely footwork today for a biggish lad. We're safe this season, give him the run in and let him really find his place in the team. I think he also gets us which is a big plus. Bailey
It was great to see some quality in his hold up play as well today. He has all the physical attributes to go to the very top if he can consistently produce quality on the ball that can match.
StevO
He did well, worked hard, but VVD showed he is a class act. Dominic did run him hard but I don’t think VVD will be too concerned. nyblue23

VVD knew he had to work and that’s a good compliment to a young CF markjazzbassist and Wiggytop
Palfy
We need to take advantage of his strength and hold up play and get runners in and around him quicker to feed off his good work. Wiggytop

I do think these type of games show him in his best light because its all about graft, which is his strongest suit. He impressed me in the 2nd half against Cardiff though and did the same today. Long may it continue!
Btay
Another Goal today - almost 1 goal every other game ratio ( goals to minutes ). Hope he keeps banging them in and leading the line.

sydneyneil
I hope he plays every game between now and the end of the season. A run of games could really help him. Matt
I’ve criticised him a fair bit but I’m starting to think that he might be our Kane. I’d really like to see him have a full season as a starting striker and concentrate on other areas in the window
Shukes
Good to see how people are giving him a chance now. Looking back through the thread a few were ready to call time on him a year ago....... nowhere near premier league quality and will never make it etc. But now people are recognising he is making small improvements. A slight bright spark in a few dire months. Hope he can continue to push. Always likes the lad and thought he had the ability. Still not proven it yet, but on the right tracks. The 06:40 from Swindon to Paddington is on the right track but is nearly always late, I personally think he has a long way to go to establish himself as a decent striker in this league and Everton. He has improved since last season where I felt his finishing was woeful, but I think the odds of him being our first pick striker in 18 months time are very low and we will see someone else come in..
