Rafael Benitez

Recommended Posts

John Terry and Jermaine Pennant didn't like him and didn't have anything else to say

Gerrard and Carragher didn't like him as a man manager but rated him as a top coach.... Glen Johnson said he was the worst man manager he had but he was a top coach. Gerrard rings him up for advice...... That tells you alot.

I think I quite like Rafa the more and more I read about him.

Im sure Dunc will run the sensitive little sausages tummies if uncle Rafa doesn't give them a galaxy caramel for scoring a goal.

I am liking all the things that the players are saying about Rafa's more hands on approach with the team.

It definitely sound like Benitez is putting far more EFFORT in to the team and the tactics than Ancelotti ever did with the players. Player all seem positive about it. I am sure clear instructions will suit a lot of them much better.

I am quietly confident that he will get more out of this group players than previose manager did.

Being attentive is a great quality for a waiter to have.

Waffles are Belgian not American I thought.  We eat toast (with butter) or cereal for breakfast.  I don’t eat waffles really.

It wouldn’t surprise me if that was the case some of the American favourites originated in Europe, that’s the beauty of living in a multi cultural country.

Jeez that’s a blast from the past mate, the first time I had what the Americans would call a proper waffle was in Canada with bacon and maple syrup

The contrast between what the commercial Mike posted showed and what I've always eaten as waffles is stark.

This. They are even called “Belgian waffles”. They are delicious. Just not with chicken, that has never made any sense to me.

Lol I don’t know what Belgians are like to know if I’m to be offended or honored

Belgians are ridiculously nice. Until they get behind the wheel of a motor car. Then they turn into the lorry driver out of the film Duel.
