Black Mirror, season 4. All of the episodes are simply unreal, sometimes down-right haunting. Utterly gripping, intense, incredible TV.
First episode of s4 features the love child of Ronald Koeman and Matt Damon!

I can’t handle Black Mirror. It’s so dark, but maybe I should give it another try. I only made it to episode 4 of season one.

They only get darker really, but it’s actually scary how close to a possible future reality the tech could be in some, and how it would affect humankind

Just browsing on Youtube and came across some old 'Cheers' stuff.   Had forgotten just how funny that program was, funniest to ever come out of the USofA.  Very clever scriptwriting and good characters.

I used to love channel 4 on a Friday. Roseanne and cheers.

My wife is the master of calling a twist, even she is caught off guard with this show.  Just brilliant writing and acting.

Now watched but wife wants to go and see The Guernsey Literary And Potato Peel Pie Society so I looked up reviews; "mixed" is the best description from one star (Irish Times, "Good actors turn bad. Bad actors turn worse. It’s pretty. It’s polite. It’s so anaemic you feel the urge to feed it a pint of Guinness....") to four (Telegraph "...every location in this irresistible romantic mystery is like a little mini-break for the soul, every costume and piece of set-dressing nibble-ably gorgeous, and every character a pleasure to keep company with...).

Probably go and see it because I love the island and am a bit of a student on the wartime occupation years there; it looks a bit "Downton Abbey" for my taste but you never know.
