I'm doing it myself in August, yesterday was a practice and nearly killed me. Lots of work to do over the next four weeks. Took me five hours yesterday. I started up Ben Nevis many moons ago but the weather closed in and we had to turn back. That was after walking the West Highland Way: in October, pissing with rain virtually every day and the path completely washed away in places high above Loch Lomond so we had to cross waterfalls carrying huge rucksacks (we were camping).
