Peter H
I think there will be another but he'll be almost a constant starter in whatever position they play him. This 100%
StevO
I'm proper excited to see him back in a blue shirt now. I wanted him back anyway, but I didn't think I'd be this excited for Thursday night.
markjazzbassist
I've been so impressed with him and I didn't want him back. He is always in the box looking to score. With Sandro and klaassen and morgan and Davies I think we can feed him enough to make having him our main centre forward work.
Lowensda
I do think he'll get an unbelievable reception. Just hope the other new lads do as well.

Hafnia
Thought he was at least 3 games away from being sharp if I'm honest. Another 5 or 6 pounds of weight needs to shift too.

He was an injury doubt going into the game so, coupled with what you said, it's no wonder he faded.
EFC-Paul
I love how he still has that razor sharp reaction and short space movement, he won't beat many on a stretch for the ball but his close range play will be key for us

Barkley could've learnt that from him, if nothing else. Lowensda

I know shame really as when we were linked I thought that's how it would pan out, probably the best player for Ross to be around I wouldn't like to be stuck between him and melty face Kane mid conversation if he ends up at Spurs
barryj
I thought Rooney was trying just a little to hard last night. I think that when we see him fitter, more settled and with greater cohesion with teammates he'll have a great season.

Matt
He also had his family in attendance, so that would've been on his mind too. I'd be surprised. The moment you're on the pitch there's too much to think about. At least, that was the case for me

Sparks FC
I thought Rooney was trying just a little to hard last night. I think that when we see him fitter, more settled and with greater cohesion with teammates he'll have a great season. Would love to see him partnered up with a forward like Giroud and some additional pace on the right (assuming we get Gylfi). I'm not sold yet on him playing up front by himself. Romey 1878
Another one here that wasn't keen on him returning, but if he plays like he did in the second half for most of this season then I'll be a very happy man.
Bailey
First half he was anonymous (bar the goal) but he really stepped it up in the second and ran the game. It was great to see!

StevO
He was so good in that second half. Wish DCL would learn to look up in the box, if he did we could have won that 3-0 with Rooney involved in all three. Matt
