But after the first half...it was tough to really single anyone out. Pickford played his part. Sigurdsson with that wonder goal. Yeah thought he was classy throughout, however every now and then goes backward when there is a chance to get the ball forward into space. Palfy Posted August 25, 2017 Report Share Posted August 25, 2017 Besic played really well and showed a good understanding with Schneiderlin, his passing was crisp and movement good, pressed well and prepared to get forward at every opportunity, you can see he's a naturally intelligent player with skill. Me, because he was one of only a few who put a shift in for most of the game, Schneiderlin, Besic and Baines being the others. Martina was the only highlight in the first half. Martina was absolutely awful for the first 15 minutes or so and only started to come into the game offensively after that impressive cross. That's still the only thing I remember him doing well.
