to your point Rafa would probably be available or be able to be bought in the summer.  I doubt they would do it now being up for sale and trying to stay up.  Summer could see Rafa, Marco Silva, Lucien Favre, Eddie Howe, Sean Dyche, etc. all available or able to be bought out.  Right now it doesn't look like we could get any of them.

Van Gaal is gone and washed up.  Amazing manager in his day but his time is over.  The way things went tits up for him at Man Utd, and with Rooney at the club, who I bet wasn't a fan, I can't see this happening even for 6 months.  Bollocks and fuck to Van Gaal.
