Popular Post Btay
Fuming. Again so many quality chances created. Seen enough though that i'm not panicking about relegation just yet, we were much better than wolves. Young has had a stinker to be fair. Best game ive seen from Patto. Dobbin looked decent, this is going to be a rough week but I'm sure results are around the corner. badaids
Well, not a lot you can say about that. A great reaction from last week’s performance but we just can’t break out of this cursed cycle. I’d like to say that if we keep playing like that we’ll be okay, but we won’t. Hafnia
We didn’t deserve that but we are so stupid. The amount of times gana gave the ball away was criminal. Matt and DownUnderToff
chicagoblue
So many awful useless deliveries today. We had a ton of the ball in good advanced positions and wasted it time and again. A goal scorer for sure but we also need to drastically improve our deliveries Matt

memmaclub2
We are going down. He made the changes we wanted with Keane out and we just don't have the squad for this. It's not like you can pick out a load of players we are missing that are game changers. My moan for this week is Gana is not good enough gives the ball away too much. Bailey
Sucker punched again. Completely inexplicably too with Tarkowski switching off. I thought there were a lot of positives to take from the game. Onana had another good performance, Doucoure was as busy as ever, Branthwaite stepped up in his first appearance of the season, Patterson was solid too. I thought Young and Gueye had poor games. Danjuma looks a bit toothless at the moment. Garner played some quality balls but I wasn't that impressed by his overall game. As for Dobbin, there is promise there because of his energy and directness but he needs to add quality and composure to his game at the moment (an Everton theme). You can only think that if we had our best front 3 of McNeil, Dom and Harrison playing together, we would have battered Wolves today. memmaclub2
We have to play with the squad we have IF Dom was fit IF we had McNeil back. We don't and we lose 3of 3 against Top 8 sides and below and we score 0 goals. We have had.2 relegation battles in a row and the same squad is weaker each season. No it isn’t yet, but we are desperate for clinical finisher and Danjuma as shown he’s not as clinical as some thought, and playing him upfront hasn’t done him any favours. This is a carbon copy of last season when we never had a recognised striker and were playing wide men and midfielders up front, will we ever learn. We are definitely looking for that finisher but these 2 home performances have been without McNeil, DCL and an unsettled back 4. We were cheated first game, we were inches this game. Much like the Fulham game, they had the ball but didn't do anything with it. I'm not going to worry until the window closes. Might get nervous then, but probably not. The biggest enemy is the media at the moment. Were ripe for clicks and that means cash, so wind fans up and you'll get more clicks. We have to be smarter than that. Palfy
I’m so disappointed at today’s result and as I said at the time I was completely destroyed when that goal went in, but I’m very optimistic that if we carry on creating those sorts of chances, and we can get DCL back and keep him fit plus try to get in someone who’s clinical in front of goal we will be alright, but at least one of those things has to happen. Look, if Tarks has that same chance tomorrow, he scores it, same as Patterson the other week. You can only think that if we had our best front 3 of McNeil, Dom and Harrison playing together, we would have battered Wolves today. I think that sums it all up pretty well. No point in getting angry and too doom and gloom after days like this -we had a lot of player missing to day, as can throw Iwobi in to the mix as well. The difference to last year and this. We actually deserve to be winning these games, that wasn't the case last season. Our 'performances' so far this season deserve at least 4 points, arguably 6. So sensibly heads heads would simply say, 'early days, things will even themselves out'. Key players to come back, etc, etc. However, that doesn't happen these days. In a clamour for our attention every analyst, lazy arsed pundit journalist and BS artists will sensationalise the whole - zero points, zero goals, worst start ever, Dyche under pressure, club in crisis, blah, blah, blah. Team probably need our support more than ever at the moment. Let's judge what we see with our own eyes, and not by the bullshit others feed us. The problem is when we are struggling for goals the pressure to score becomes huge, and when chances fall to players who aren’t natural goal scorers they have a tendency to choke under the pressure. Get a natural scorer in and we will be alright, I’d like to think Lukaku has watched our last 2 home games and told his agent get me back to Everton I could get 25-30 goals easily.
