I'm not sure we have a pre-season date yet but I suspect it will be at least 4 weeks. Transfer window ends 5th October. When do we expect to make our first 1st team squad signing? He is now English football and Premiership proven. Not going to be silly wages, so a pretty low risk signing at his age. He has escaped my notice like you say young a few years under his belt at this level good stats, if the money’s right why not, if we could bring in the experience of Allan then why not put someone like him along side him. I was watching some old games the other night from the 80s and Reidy and Bracewell were in the centre of the park youth and experience working as a team, that’s the combination we need to find now. I did thought the same yesterday when I saw a post from the club showing highlights of the West Brom 3-2 game under Martinez. Obviously a very different era to the one you saw but it was just so much more dynamic. We had 4 or 5 people joining in attacks, quality deliveries from Geri and Lukaku putting his chances away. Its madness that we had to come back from 2 down in that game. Funes Mori giving the ball away in a terrible position and Barkley being asked to mark Craig Dawson (and it going wrong - obviously) that caused it. We are as bad now as we have been for a long time, comparing players like Jagielka, Pienaar, Baines, Lukaku, Gana, and Cahill, to some of the dross we have today shows us that if anything we have gone Backwards.
