He has been at the club before and I really think he would flourish under a manager like Ancelotti. Mina IMO is just not consistent enough, Holgate/Keane would be the pairing. Holgate is a defensive option to see see out games instead of Davies, so if holgate started or was on bench I would bring him into midfield to see out games.... Bailey Posted September 30, 2020 Report Share Posted September 30, 2020 I do think Zouma is probably one of the most underrated defenders in the league. There is no getting away from the fact he does have a moment, normally with the ball at his feet, but he has all the physical attributes you would want in a defender and he has the intelligence to read the game as well. I think the new much more composed Keane alongside Zouma will be a great pairing. In fairness they did well together under Silva, certainly better than the other options we tried at the time. Possibly the best CB in the world for a bit more than a player who the top four are willing to let go to find first team football. I know Branthwaite, he’s a kid who struggled to get in Blackburn’s team last season. He shouldn’t be considered at all. Anderson? The kid hasn’t even got close to the first team.
