In the past a player gives an interview like this and then we balls up the game. Everything feels different now so I'm at the very least expecting a strong performance even if we don't get through, rather than the complete capitulations we've witnessed in the past.

Even those who are not interested in us winning trophies must surely see the benefit of winning tonight to keep the feel good factor and momentum going ?

No one has said they want the team to lose. Some of us would prefer the squad players to play to allow the first team to focus on the league, plus it gives the squad players and kids a chance.

Brentford/Fulham, Aston Vila/Stoke or Newcastle would be the dream draws. We always seem to pull Liverpool whenever we are doing well in a cup competition so wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if that's the ball that we pull, just got to hope in that case that Arteta works some magic and knocks them out :).

The two Manchester sides are taking this seriously too, so would be a strong test.

draw tomorrow, here is who's left

Tottenham

Newcastle

Manchester City

Manchester Utd

Everton

Brentford or Fulham

Aston Villa or Stoke

Liverpool or Arsenal

Spurs, Newcastle, Brentford, Fulham, Villa or Stoke please.

City get knocked out by United and Liverpool out by Arsenal would also be great.

It's not a bad draw to be honest, the two toughest teams are against each other in Arsenal and Manchester City, obviously one will go out which should make things smoother.

Brentford vs. Newcastle is a really good tie too, both shite teams that we should really get past so hopefully we can pull from this fixture if we make the semi final.

Mourinho taking his foot off the gas and dropping a clanger against Stoke would be great too, the winner will come from either of the Everton/United, Arsenal/City ties.
