I am thinking that Ancelloti may have put him on of for the last few minutes at the weekend for a final run out at Goodison and a bit of closure on his Everton career. markjazzbassist
His contract ends end of year so he’s officially gone. Never wanted him and was proved right that he was a waste of transfer fee and wages. Sad but he never reached the same heights as he did with arsenal. Popular Post StevO
No issue with his time at Everton. Did a job. Not sure we could have picked up much better with Allardyce in charge at the time. Always been very respectful, seems a decent guy. Wish him luck. Popular Post Hafnia
Left a very classy message on leaving. He is a model pro like that and a clearly well raised lad. barryj, Wiggytop, StevO and 2 others

Popular Post Romey 1878
I never wanted him here but I don't think he did too badly for us at all tbh. Would I class him as a brilliant signing? No. But he wasn't a bad signing all in all. He scored a few goals for us, some very important. Put a shift in. Showed some glimpses of quality. It's just that he wasn't consistent and that's always been his problem. I'm not sad to see him go but I'm not jumping for joy about it either, he goes with my best wishes. nutmegwolf203, Palfy, barryj and 3 others

Cornish Steve
Wishing him every success at Southampton. He never fit here, so I'm sure he'll do better elsewhere. Matt
Bailey
He was never my cup of tea as he is a very one-dimensional footballer but he was a decent enough pro who did OK in various spells, usually when a new manager came through the door! London Blue
He scored some vital goals for us and his pace gave us an outlet. Thoroughly decent man, thanks for your time here and good luck at Southampton, except against us! Matt
markjazzbassist
can't the mods move this to general football? he's gone from everton and the minute the loan ends his contract is up with us too, he's gone gone gone gone gone. When you come to Everton you join a family and give of yourself more than just your ability as a footballer, he did that for me we touched him and he touched us, hopefully he will remember his time here with great fondness in years to come, and I’m sure we would all welcome him back when he comes to visit us. Zoo 2.0
Don't think he was as bad as people made out, but was never going to hit the heights that we wanted to push us back into the European places. Southampton, especially because of his history there is a good fit for him and Theo always came across as a good lad, nothing but good wishes to him on his (expected) move now being confirmed. Hafnia
One of the very many nice lad players we have .... Don't think he lost much sleep over losing. Pity - superb athlete but ultimately never really looked like he wanted it. I remember the saying about Rodwell ... Too much birkdale not enough kirkdale.
