BedfordBlue
I'm warming to the idea of Lampard wasn't my first choice but at least its a manager everyone can get behind and if it goes well could be a long term manager. Goodison Glory
Personally I'd be over the moon. Yes he doesn't have a long track record but as highlighted above he has a lot of positives (notably working with youth). His PL experience can't be understated and if we can somehow get out of this mess this year we could have someone for the longer term rather than just a stop gap. Time will tell of course, but I'm happy with it. StevO
Gwlad
Get us out of this current mess, build his team, Bramley-Moore. He could become a legend..... or not!
Matt
He must be fucking mental to walk into our current shitshow, which doesn't fill me with confidence. But he's top of the crap pile at this rate.

Bailey
I definitely think Lampard can do a job here. Some of the points about him knowing the league are really relevant when you look at the other candidates. I can see him improving the side and getting the fans excited again. Gwlad
Expectations won't be as high for him as at the Chelse. I now hope it is him and it will be refreshing to have a British manager here. Knows the Premier league inside and out as player and manager. The moral of the Moshiri story has got to be be careful what you wish for, we have learned a painful lesson which has more painful paths to go down. Well said. I had been waiting for years for someone to come along with deep pockets and put us back in the top flight. Instead of which, we are in free fall and could land in the Championship. If we intend dipping into the transfer market again. The clock is ticking.
