Pretty sure he would play for peanuts. Hoping Patterson pans out but he would be an extra option / voice in the dressing room / might get him to 400 appearances. The squeak is funny What I do also like is the way both Maupay and Gana hold off the defenders and shield the ball in the build up, plus Mesliers continuing impersonating a statue after it hits the net. He’s been an excellent captain and player for us on his day. He’s won us some points this season too, despite being past it. I hate the stick he gets, because he always gives his all and fights for the club. It’s not his fault we haven’t replaced him properly. I’ll be absolutely gutted if this is how he goes out.
